The bar chart compares the percentage on 5 different categories according to Gender in excutive position in the ACME Oil Company in 1995.
It is clear that the highest percentage of men and women job holders was seen, at category A and E, respectively, while the largest variation was seen in category A, where the men’s proportion was seen to be 9 times higher than the women. Although categories A, C, and B were dominated by males, there was female domination on category D and E.
In terms of categories A, B, and C, the proportion of males and females noted at 90% and 30%, near about 70% and 30%, and less than 60% and 30%, respectively. In addition, differences of 80% between the two genders’ proportion was seen in the case of category A, while the other two categories’ differences were less than that of category A.
On the other hand, the proportion of men and women noted at around 45% and 55%, 75% and 25% for categories D and E, respectively. In addition, in terms of gender variation, category D seems to be more equivalent than any other category of the given graph.
