The data describes the cost in US dollars of 0,8 killograms of four different types of bread in the USA between 2015 and 2035.
Overall, due to the chart the price of brown, white and rye bread has slightly increased, compered to the wholegrain type, what cost is the same as 20 years ago, however it has had its dpos and upps during this period of time.
The value of wholegrain bread has changed all the time. The first 5 years its price has almoust doubled. However, the next decade it droped to 0,7 US dollars. After years of downbacks the cost of bread rised to its beggining point, which was 80 cents.
The other tree categories has started from the same point, however the brown bread managed to get the biggest increase. At the end it reached the price of 1,6 dollars, which is the highest, compered to all other types. The white one has also did a great improvement, since until 2025 its cost was equal 1,3 dollars. The least expensive bread turned out to be white.
