The bar graph illustrates the distribution of global oil resources by region, alongside the corresponding annual consumption figures in those areas.
Overall, there is a significant disparity between oil resource distribution and consumption patterns across various regions, with some holding considerable reserves yet exhibiting low levels of consumption, while others demonstrate the opposite scenario.
Looking into detail, the Middle East has the highest amount of oil and it ranks at approximately 57%. Another area with a considerable amount of oil is Canada with just under 15% and oil resources in other parts of the world are lower and all together account for about one-third.
Regarding the other chart, it is apparent that oil usage in Asia, the United States, and Western Europe is the largest(26.21%,25.48%, and a little less than one-fifth respectively).
The percentage of oil that is used yearly in the Middle East, Central and South America, and Eastern Europe is approximately the same ( 6%). Meanwhile, other areas do not use so much oil; each uses less than 5%.
