Regarding the percentage of people who purchased instant coffee, Hobart and Brisbane locals lead with approximately 54% and 52%, respectively, with those in the other cities being virtually identical, at around 45% to 50%.
Cafes are the most common option for residents in most cities, except for Adelaide where they are outstripped by instant coffee. Specifically, the figures in Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart dwarf others with over 60%, widening the gap with the remaining cities.
Lastly, fresh coffee is the least popular choice for these consumers. Only about 43% of Sydney and Melbourne inhabitants buy it, followed by almost 35% of Hobart, Adelaide and Brisbane counterparts.
