In general, with a exception of Adelaide, all remaining urban areas have the percentage of people going to a cafe higher than that of buying. Besides, there are lower rates of residents choosing to buy fresh coffee among all regions.
Looking at people’s coffee and tea buying, it is notable that in last 4 weeks, none of the given cities has the rate of buying fresh coffee hit 45%, which the highest recorded in Sydney at roughly 43% and the lowest ones in Brisbane and Adelaide at 34%. In addition, more than half of people in Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart bought instant coffee in last 4 weeks, whilst for Sydney and Melbourne the rates are measured at 46% and 48% in the order.
Turning to the percentage of dwellers going to a cafe, Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart experience this rate overtaking 60%, which are around 61%, 64% and 63% respectively. Simultaneously, Adelaide has the lowest rate at just below 50%.
