Overall, it can be seen from the chart that Theme Parks was the most common attraction for tourists who visited Britain in 1999. Whereas the least popular tourist destination was Wildlife Parks and Zoos.
Most visitors went to Theme Parks, occupying 38%. Moreover, the vast majority of tourists visiting the Theme Parks chose to go to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, accounting for 47%. 17% of visitors occupied by visitting Alton Towers, come after by Pleasureland at Southport. Although some of them went to Chessington World of Adventures and Legoland at Windsor just only 10% each.
The proportion of tourists visiting Museums and Galleries was 37%, followed by Historic Houses and monuments, accounting for 16%. However, Wildlife Parks and Zoos was the least common attraction for tourists who visited Britain in the year 1999.
