Notably, the largest sales difference between the two age groups was documented in comedies, where approximately 150,000 tickets were sold to moviegoers in their twenties, which was around five times the figure for those aged 10 to 19 years old. Similarly, romantic movies showed a significant contrast in preferences between the two age brackets, with a considerable number of roughly 115,000 tickets being sold to the older viewers, yet only about 15,000 to the younger ones. In contrast, action films exhibited the most balanced admissions, with 80,000 and around 85,000 tickets for both groups, with sales in the 20-to-29 bracket being slightly higher.
In terms of animation and science fiction movies, sessions of both genres were purchased by those aged 10 to 19. Although the highest ticket sales were recorded for animation at approximately 130,000 tickets, this type of movie experienced the lowest number of ticket sales to the 20-to-29-year-olds at around 50,000. Lastly, science fiction movies attracted a relatively high number of both the younger and older cohorts, with their respective sales reaching a total of roughly 125,000 and 100,000 tickets.
