The bar chart gives information about the total volume of telephone calls in Denmark, divided into three categories: national landline, international landline and mobile, from 1995-2004.
Overall, the three categories experienced different trends in the time period. While the calls of international landline and mobile rose, the calls of national landline fell over the time.
As the graph shows, national landline’s telephone calls started at 12 million minutes in 1995 followed by a considerable increase to around 16 million in 2000. Then, it declined significantly until it fell to just over 8 million in 2004. The telephone calls in international landline stood at just over 6 million in 1995. The line rose steadily from 6 million to approximately 8 million, between 1995 and 2004.
By contrast, the calls in mobile experienced ana slight increase in the 5 year period. In 1985, the calls started at 1 million, but the number increase to 3 million 2000. Then, the number increased sharply from 3 million to 11 million, between 2000 and 2004, respectively
