The two pie charts compare the proportion of different types of training courses in communications provided to employees by an international company, as well as the proportion of various reasons for attending the courses given by employees.
It is clear that by far the most popular type of training course is part-time training in the evenings, and the most noticeable reason for deciding to attend is to be better prepared for their travelling on holiday.
Out of all five types of courses, the majority of people were willing to take part-time courses. Around 40% decided to study communication skills in the evenings, with around one-fifth each choosing to take a course on weekends or to study on their own. By contrast, distance learning was less attractive, with a figure of a mere 5%.
In terms of reasons, around half of the employees took the training for a holiday trip, while only 10% used the course to improve their communication with clients. In addition, the percentage of both business travel and personal interest was around 15%.
