The given bar chart illustrates the figure of some Australia’s trading connection with various partners, namely China, Japan, Korea, Thailand and Vietnam over three- year period from 2012 to 2014, measured in Australian millions of dollars.
Overall, the most notable thing is China had dominated the chart throughout the timeline, twice as much as Japan – the second-largest partner. Furthermore, all companions’ values remained steadily, little had changed, except for China which underwent several significant increase.
Firstly, the trading links between Australia and China worth approximately 125,000 A$ millions. In the next year, this valuable companion rose dramatically by 25,000 A$ millions. Looking at Japan, the first two years had not observed any changes. Later in 2014, Japan figures slightly decreased, however, the partnership of Australia and Japan still managed to be in the second place.
Secondly, the others three countries Korea, Thailand and Vietnam did not have much fluctuation during three years. In addition, their values was clearly in an descending order from Korea, Thailand to the smallest one – Vietnam. In 2014, Korea reached its peak, estimately 35,000 A$ millions, while Thailand’s maximum value is 20,000 A$ millions ( 2013 ). Vietnam had increased slowly over 3 years and its final numbers was just about 10,000 A$ millions.
