The graph illustrates the usage of water by industries in some countries in one year. Overall, the amount of water that was used in chemicals was highest in both ground water and public supply, while the fuel industry showed the lowest.
Firstly, the fuel industry used 70 (in millions of cubic meters) of ground water, while it was very passive in public supply, which was 10. Then, the food/drinks company used a higher amount of water in comparison to other companies. It used 110 in ground water and 190 in public supply. The machinery company used the lowest amount of water in terms of ground water. Although it was not quite good at ground water, the litres of water in public supply was 10 times more than in ground supply. The metal company used 240 in ground water and 90 in public supply.
Meanwhile, the amount of water that the chemicals company used was extremely excessive, even it was two times higher than the second most used company in terms of ground water. It also showed the highest amount of water in public supply, which is 240. Although paper used a high amount of water in ground water, it was quite passive in public supply, in which it used only 20 in the whole year. Finally, the textiles company used 80 in ground water and 10 in public supply.
