Overall, there was an upward trend in car theft and house burglary which made them the highest , while the opposite happened in house burglary. In comparison, street robbery exhibited moderate changes in the given period.
Firstly, car theft started at 0.4 million incidients in 1970, before it doubled in 1980. In 1995, the amount of crime through the car theft reached a peak at 1.6 million, after plummeted to that of 1 millions in 2005.
