As it can be clearly seen, the quantity of hours spent in Upper Secondary schools higher in each countries. However, the time allocated for primary schools lower in every mentioned countries respectively.
Focusing on the proportion of hours spent in Upper Secondary schools, the USA was dominant, with just under 1200, closely followed by Iceland alongside with Spain, with about 900 hours respectively. However, Japan showed the lowest point of roughly 700.
As regards the figure for Lower Secondary schools, the USA spent the most hours again, with 900. The number of hours spent by Spain showed an index of approximately 750. Thirdly, Japan indicated lower point than Spain by around 100. Finally, Iceland spent less teaching hours slightly more than 600.
The USA was also the country that spent the most time on primary education, similarly to the positions above, with about 750. Another country Spain spent less hours than USA by about 100. The other two countries ( Japan, Iceland) spent the least teaching hours with roughly 600 respectively.
