The line chart provides information about the percentage of tourists who had traveled to Scotland and visited different points of interest with a timespan of 30 years, commencing from 1980 to 2010.
Overall, it is clear that the fraction of people that visited the castle and zoo witnessed an upward trend, while the opposite was true for the aquarium and festival section.
In 1980, the yearly percent of individuals that visited the castle stood at nearly 25% ( the second highest of that year), while zoo were just 10%, the lowest of them all. Between 1980 to 1996, the fraction of people that stop by the castle peaked by approximately 20%, but zoo on the other hand remained stable. Over the next 15 years, tourists that come to see the castle had become the highest of the chart at only under 40%, following the second spot is the individuals that come by the zoo, this figure has significantly doubled the starting point.
In the first examined year, the festival received an average amount of 30% of the overall tourists of the chart which takes the spot of the highest of the chart by that time, while aquariums were under by just 10%.From 1980 to 1995, aquarium still remain stable;However, festival saw a slightly decreased in the percentage of tourist by 5%. On 1995 onwards, both festival and aquarium fall down to the two lowest spot, in turn of festival being higher and only received under 25% of the overall tourist, while aquarium takes the spot of the lowest attractions that people to Scotland visited by under approximately 10%.
