This line graph provides information on consuming three types of junk food products by adolescents in Mauritius over 30-year period between 1985 and 2015.
Overall, what can be seen from the graph is that the main increase was in the intake of hamburgers and fried chicken while Pizza conception saw a sharp increase over the years given.
In 1985, eating hamburger products stood at 10 times per year and rose dramatically to a pick of 70 times in 2015 and this was by far the highest amount of consuming in whole period. Also, fried chicken production saw almost similar trends as hamburgers and composed to about five times in 1985 and quadrupled to 20 times in 1995 in the next 10 years this type of food soared to 60 times annually and saw a little change in 2015.
However, the trends were not similar with pizza products. Although, in 1985 it was consumed 60 times yearly, after it plummeted to 40 times in 2000 and this was parallel to grilled chicken. Next, it continued to shark decrease until 2015 and at the time teenage consuming of this fast food product was only 10 times for a year.
