In 2007, the chart compares the percentages of seven different administrative jobs for males and females in the UK.
Overall, administrative jobs differ from men to women. For example, many more women work as teachers than men do. In contrast, many more men work in construction than women do. Some jobs have similar percentages of men and women who work in the same jobs.
The chart illustrates that the jobs using the workforce consist of 90% men, leaving women with only 10%. Conversely, in the teaching profession, females represent 90% of the employees, with males constituting only 10%. Similarly, the profession of therapist consisted more of females than males, with women having 81% and men having 19%.
The proportion of male and female advertising, journalism, science, and law was alike. Advertising was fairly distributed for men and women, with women having 55% of the roles in advertising and men having 45%. Likewise, in journalism, both men and women have an equal 50%. Men had a slightly higher percentage of being scientists than women, with 60%, and women made up 40%.
