In general, there was a noticeable increase in the distance covered in many modes of transport in car, long distance bus, train, taxi, all modes, and other while the data for walking, bicycle, and local bus show a downward trend. Notably, the figure for all modes was higher than that for any other category throughout the period shown.
Analyzing the information in greater detail, in 1985, 4.740 per person of transport in all modes, compared to 3.199 in car, 450 in other, 429 in local bus, and 289 in train. Over the subsequent 15 years, the number of average distances in traveled by mode of transport in all modes, car, other gradually climbed to 6.475, 4.806, 585, respectively, in 2000. Additionally, the figure for train considerably increased to 366, but local bus fall dramatically to 274 at the end of the period.
Turning to the other transport, the number of various modes of transport in walking stood at 255 in 1985, followed by long distance bus at 54, and bicycle at 51, and taxi at 13. Over the next 15 years, the figure for walking and bicycle rapidly declined to 237, 41, respectively, in 2000. Finally, long distance bus and taxi followed similar trend with the figures eventually rising to 124, 42, respectively in the final year.
