Overall, it is noticeable that according to the distribution of the world’s water, fresh water is a tiny amount of that in total. Moreover, Egypt and Saudi Arabia use much water in agriculture instead of industry like Canada.
Looking at the two pie charts more closely, one can see that salt water accounts for 97 percent of the world’s water while fresh water makes up only 3 percent. Regarding the contribution of fresh water, standing at nearly 80 percent, the percentage of ice and glaciers is 4 times as much as that of ground water. In addition, surface water holds approximately 1 percent in fresh water constitution.
Turning to the bar chart about how water using, it is evident that Canada focused on using water in industry, which reached at under 80 percent. The proportion of utilized water for agriculture and domestic in Canada are less 8 times than that of industry. In contrast to Canada, Egypt and Saudi Arabia show a different trend, with the percentage of agriculture is nearly 80 percent. Another remarkable point is that the figure for domestic in these countries has similar proportion at over 10 percent, whereas that of industry in Egypt and Saudi Arabia are 8 percent and 10 percent respectively.
