The chart above illustrates the number of Canadian kids, aging from 12 to 17, and how they spend their time per week on sport and exercise.
As we can see from the data, young people tend to carry out their physical activities at least once a week. Compared to the bar that notes doing exercise at least 6 days in a week, the percentage is very little. What we can infer from this information is that, the younger generation lack movement in their recreational affairs and that they’re lazy most days.
Boys doing more sports than girls is a crucial thing we can notice from the data too. As it is evidently shown, even in the statistic that records doing physical activity at least a week, boys are overall higher than girls. A significant comparison can be shown in the bar that says ‘At least 3 days,’ because the boys in that data scores 20 percent higher than girls in doing their gymnastics under 60 minutes.
Overall, the younger generation lack hobbies that involves motion and what we can also observe from the data is that boys do more physical work than girls in a week.
