The chart illustrates the comparison between the two modes of education (online and on-campus) preferred by students in Freemont from the school year 2015 to 2019. In the chart, the x-axis depicts the four school years and the y-axis shows the number of students who attend school in thousands.
Overall, it can be seen that the number of students who engage in on-campus education, is higher than the number of students who use online education. During the early years, the number of students who attend online education is only half the number of students who attend on-campus education, however, in the latter years, the number of attendees for both is almost equal.
In the first and second school years, 2015-18 and 2016-17, there aren’t that many students who engage in online education. In the school year 2015-2016, there are almost 5000 students on campus and only around 2800 online students. In 2016-17, a slow incline can be depicted in the use of online education (around 3,300).
A significant increase in the number of students who attend online education can be depicted by the year 2017-18, the number of students who use online education has increased, to 5000, reaching almost the same as the number of on-campus students. In 2016-19 Both showed a gradual rise, with regular classes reaching 6000 and online classes gathering almost 5800 students.
To conclude, the chart has clearly and comprehensively depicted the progress of face-to-face and online education in Freemont.
