The table provides information on the numbers of households (millions) in the US according to their income per annum for the following year’s (2007, 2010 and 2015).
Generally, the number of households earnings per year varied over the specified years. Notably, the low income bracket (less than $25.000- $49.999) and the highest income group ($100.000 or more) grew and then decreased marginally while the mid-level income group ($ 50.000- $74.999) remain stable.
In 2007, 25milion households had an annual income of less than $25.000 while about 27million earned between$25.000A little above 20million received $ 50.000- $74.999 whereas almost 15million got $75.000-$99.999. In contrast, almost 30million of the US households had yearly salaries of $100.000 or more.
By 2011, the number of households with salary bracket of less than $25.000 had grew to about 28million, those within $25.000-$49.999 had also increased to 30million. The ones in the mid-level income group ($50.000- $74.999) remained at the same figure meanwhile those in ($75.000-$99.999) bracket had declined marginally to about 14million. Annual earners of $100.000 or more also fell to almost 23million.
4 years later, income earners of less than $25.000 and those within $25.000-$49.999 had decreased to almost (28 and 29) million respectively. Although the mid-level earners remained stable, those in ($75.000-$99.999 group however had grew slightly to 15million while the highest income group peaked to almost 34million.
