The given bar chart provides the proportion of female and male teachers in different educational institutes in the United Kingdom in 2019. The categories are devided to nursery, primary school, secondary school, private institutes and university lectures.
It can be seen that female shows significant dominance in pre-school and primary school, occupying approximately 95%, while male takes only 5 to 10 percent. The only two categories where men outnumber women is private institute and university lectures, taking respectively 50% and 60% of the sigments. The proportion of male and female in teaching staff of private training and secondary schools is roughly equal, but women slightly prevail in the sector of secondary school. The only categorie where male and female demonstrate the exact same figures is college segment.
In general, it is clear that women make up the majority of the staff of early childhood education. With regards to other educational settings, the proportion of male and female teachers shows a marginal difference.
