The given chart illustrates six types of education in male and female teachers based on 2019 data from the UK. Units are measured in percentages.
It can be seen that the numbers of nursery school teachers and primary school teachers are significantly different compared with other types. In college teachers, there were exactly the same percentages for both sexes.
In the nursery (pre-school) teachers, it can be seen that male teachers were around 5%, while the percentage of women was about nearly 100%, which is the highest percentage in all categories. In primary school teachers, there was also a huge difference in amounts between both genders. When the amount of females was over 95%, male teachers reached below 10%.
There were the same amounts in college; it is seen that exactly 50 percent were male and 50 percent were female. In secondary school and private training teachers, these two categories look more stable than others, which showed huge differences in amounts or were exactly the same.
Overall, we can infer that women teachers were more fit or interested in nursery and primary school settings than men.
