The bar chart illustrates the proportion of teachers in educational institutions in the UK in 2019, in which the percentage distribution of males and females is shown in six different settings.
There was a distinctive domination of females in teaching young children. For example, more than 95% of teachers in Nursery/Pre-school were women. Similarly, female teachers were one-sided in Primary school with a number over 90%.
The shared area between men and women is in the middle-student institution. Secondary school is proof with 46% male and 54% female. Moreover, it is particularly true when College held a balance of exactly 50% for both genders.
In contrast, males showed a predominance in teaching higher institutions. This is true when the Private training institution had more than 50% male and University lecturers held 3:2 male to female.
Overall, female teachers played an important role in parental young children as seen in an outnumbered amount toward Nursery and Primary school. Men, on the other hand, led to a higher status in teaching grown-ups and adults.
