According to bar chart, Canberra had the highest level water, at over 75% in 2009 and nearly 100% in 2010. This was followed by water capacity in Sydney city, which increased slightly to just over the 80% in 2010. Next to Brisbane, this city remained unchanged at around 58% in both years.
Moreover, water capacity in Perth witnessed a sharp increase, rising from approximately 40% in 2009 to 70% in 2010. Contrary to the other five cities, Darwin saw a falling tendency, decreasing from about 40% in 2009 to 20% in 2010; this figure was the lowest in 2010. Next to Melbourne, the water level rose by 20% in 2010; however, in 2009, it was at 20%, making it the lowest that year.
