The chart illustrates information about the percentage of water in reservoirs in six different cities in Australia from Octorber 2009 and Octorber 2010.
Overall, there were increases in the water levels of the reservoirs in almost cities between the two years, except in Darwin and Brisbane City. Additionally, Cabberra was the highest in term of water stored throughout the given period.
In October 2009, the proportion of water level of Sydney’s reservoirs was about 75%. After that, it started to increase slightly to up to 80% in the following year.
Simliar upward trends but more significantly could be witnessed in the figure of Melbourne, Perth and Canberra cities, with approximately 25%, 40% and 75% innitially and rose to nearly 40%, 60% and 100% in October 2010, respectively.
In contrast, water quantity in Darwin decreased considerably from around 45% to just below 30% during the period shown, while it remained unchanged at about 55% in Brisbane center.
