Overall, what can be clearly seen from the graph is that most cities experienced an increase in their water level, while Brisbane remained stable and Perth decreased.
In 2009, the water level in reservoirs in Perth was about 45 percent. In 2010, that decreased by about 15 percent, reaching just 30 percent. Additionally, Brisbane leveled off during this period at 55 percent.
Darwin, Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne experienced the same trend. They all saw a growth in the water level in reservoirs. In 2009, the percent of maximum starting at 74, 25, 40 and 75 percent and in 2010 reached just above 80 percent at 81, just under 40 percent at 38, slightly above 60 at 61 and close to one hundred percent, respectively.
