The bar chart illustrates the percentage of females and males who passed when they took their driving exam in one particular Asian country from 1980 to 2010. Overall, women had shown more percentages in all years in a comparison to men, however both genders’ results increased in the last period.

In 1980, just above the 50 percent of women managed to get driving licence before the percentages rose to over 50 in the next year, in 1990. In 2000, there was an considerable increase among women passing driving test which was nearly 70 percent.

In the last period, the percentages did not fall dramatically, but steadly by reaching around 65 percent.

Regarding men who passed the exam, there were more than 35 percent of them in 1990, after being being started with just above the 30 percent in the beginning, in 1980.

In the next year, the statistics rose noticeably by reaching its peak, nearly 50 percent and continued to hover around that level in 2010.
