The pie charts above illustrate the online sales, measured in percentages, for retail difference in Canada that was divided into four sectors, and that was electronic and appliance, food and beverage, home furnishings, and video games in the span of 5 years. Overall, the sales for video games and also food and beverage were having an increase in their trend, in contrast to home furnishings and electronic and appliances that were having a downfall. The figures that had the most and the lowest sale were also varied in 2005 and 2010.
Between 2005 and 2010, there were a different trend among four of the retail sectors. Two of them had a climb in the sector of video games and food and beverage. Video games were the lowest of the four at just 18% in 2005. However, it took a hike into 23% and become the second lowest sales five years later. The same trend for food and beverage that was started from 22% into 32% at the end of 2010 and it reported the highest retail sales out of the four of them.
In contrast, home furnishings and electronic and appliances were having a downward trend. The former started at exactly a quarter of it in 2005 and ended as the lowest retail sales five years later, with only at 15%. The latter was actually started as the highest retail sales with a whopping 35% sales, but it fall off into the second highest at just 30%.
