The bar chart illustrates the proportion of travellers in different ages from the UK to Spain between 1983 and 2003.
Overall, it is readily apparent that there was a shrinking substantially in people at the age of 34-54 from 1983 to 2003, while others also changed significantly.
In 1983, 50 percent of English travellers visiting Spain were aged from 34-54, making them the most popular group, approximately more than double that of those from 25 to 34 years old. However, there was a reduction from 50 percent to 35 percent. Following that, the number of people who were on journey from 16 to 24 also rose dramatically by 11 percent. The following two decades witnessed a significant change, with the figure for visitors from 0 to 15 increasing slightly 2 percent. A similar trend pattern can be seen in young adults aged 55+, whose level grew up from 16 to 26 percent.
