In detail, the pie chart shows that 39% of crude oil was produced in US and rest were imported from other countries. Canada and Middle East contries were major exporters of crude oil to US, contributing about 24% and 17% respectively. Meanwhile, Africa and Latin america contributed 8% and 9% respectevely whereas, rest 3% were imported from other countries.
On the other hand, the bar chart shows that about 60% of the crude oil were imported from other countries between 2005 and 2006. It then faced a steady decline in the following years, reaching almost 49% in 2010. The percentage continued to decline in the year 2011 and 2020, resulting in the final percentage of about 40% in the year 2020.
