The bar chart and table provide information regarding the life expectancy in 2008 and increase in life expectancy from 1996 to 2008.
Overall, expected lifespan in four different regions were higher, with the exception of Indonesia where the the average lifespan is lower. In terms of increase in life duration, Indonesia topped the chart,while the reverse holds true for the U.S.
Japan and Korean’s expected life duration was relatively higher, with the respective figures of 82.7 and 79.2 in 2008. The average lifespan of the U.S stood at 77.2, making it comparatively higher than that of Indonesia where the average length of life was 70.9.
When it comes to growth in life duration, Indonesia bucket the chart, with the increase of 14.1 years throughout the years in question, compared to Japan where the lifespan increased only by 5.1. Korea, on the other hand, rose to 9.3, as opposed to the U.S, which was merely in 3.2 growth.
