The least popular location is college-based studios, attracting only 10% of students.
Looking at the types of different dance classes by age group, ballet is highly preferred by children under 11 years old, with almost 600 participants. In contrast, modern dancing is the most popular choice among teenagers aged 11 to 16, with slightly over 500 participants. Children under 11 prefer modern dancing the least, while teenagers choose ballet less often, with both dance types attracting around 300 attendees each. Tap dancing is similarly preferred in both age groups, with well over 400 participants in each.
