The pie charts illustrate the portion of three computer operating systems compared to others in the market globally from 2012 to 2015. Overall, the percentage of OS1 increased while other systems declined significantly. The OS2 and OS3 tended to experience a slight upward trend.
The percentage of using other computer softwares accounted for 48% while the proportion of OS1 was only recorded at 20% in 2012. Although 38% of total use was constituted to OS1 in 2013 which was higher than its in the previous year, the rate of other systems was lower than 13% in 2013. Its figure experienced a considerable downward trend whereas the proportion of the OS1 rose 9% in 2014. More than half of the chart was occupied by the use of OS1 when the other softwares sharply declined from 23% to 15% in 2015
The OS2 and OS3, however, altered slightly. Exactly 17% remained unchanged for OS2 in 2012 and 2013. It then slightly increased in the next 2 years with 18%. For OS3, it accounted for 15% in 2012, the proportion was lower than 5% compared with its rate in last year. It then grew fractionally by 2% in 2014, and continually increased to 15% in 2015 which was similar with the percentage in 2012
