Bicycles became the most popular, with 30% of Cambridge residents opting to use them. Walking tied buses as the second pick for 25% of locals. Healthier and climate friendly options became the go-to form of travel, surging in popularity from 28% in 2008 to 55% in 2018.
In conclusion, environmentally friendly forms of travel became much more popular over time compared to buses and cars.
