Overall, the percentage of energy produced from different resources in oil, coal, and other renewable rose, while there was a significant decrease in natural gas. Although the natural field experienced a considerable decline, but it was still the main resource in this country in 2013.
From 1985 to 2003, although the energy produced from natural gas decreased from 52% to roughly 39%, it was still the biggest data in 18 years. Meanwhile, the popularity of oil in this sector saw an insignificant growth of 10% which was equivalent to that of coal. Besides, Hydrogen’s figure remained unchanged at 4% throughout this periodIn, making it the smallest proportion among all sectors in 2003.
In the latter period, there was a small rise of 3% in the energy which was shaped from other renewable fields after 18 years. In contrast, the figure for energy which was from nuclear witnessed a dramatic drop of 14%. Also, the proportion of coal increased substantially from 8% in 1985 to 22% in 2003 which was the biggest development among 7 types of energy.
