The pie chart illustrated the percentage of power production in the country in 1985 and 2003.
Overall, natural gas manufacturing took the greatest percentage in both charts. Moreover, coal and oil had a remarkable growth from 1985 to 2003 ranging 10% to 18%. Nevertheless, other patterns viewed small changes and tended to remain unchanged.
In 1985, natural gas took up almost half of the national resources, more than twice as much as nuclear which placed at second, accounting for 22%. Following closely, coal and hydrogen registered 8% and 4%, while oil came in third with 13%. With 1%, other renewable resources became the last proportion in the chart.
In 2003, hydrogen remained unchanged, while oil and coal made up second and third with 22% and 23%. In contrast, nuclear dropped sharply to 16%, becoming the last proportion beside other renewable resources which raised up to 3%.
