The three pie charts depict degrees awarded in four fields at the National University across three decades (1990, 2000, and 2010).
Overall, the degrees in Computer Science and Medicine experienced considerable upward trends, while the figures for Business and Law fields saw reverse trends over the 20-year period. In addition, the proportion of Law degrees experienced the most fluctuations.
In 1990, Computer Science constituted the highest portion, accounting for exactly 30% of degrees, after which it grew to 40% in the next 10 years and reached a peak of 45% in 2010. A similar trend occurred in the proportion of Medicine degrees, rising gradually from 25% in the first year to 30% in 2000.
On the other hand, the number of Business degrees dropped slightly by 5% in the first 10 years, followed by a final decline to 15% of degrees in 2010. Law accounted for 15% of degrees, decreased by 5% to its lowest level in 2000, and then rose back to 15%, matching its initial proportion.
