From an overall perspective most popular method of commuting in 2010 was by the bus for the UK students which declined in 2015, making the walking method mostly used one. On the other hand, the students in the USA mostly preferred to use car to go to their University in 2010, which remained the same in 2015 as well whereas the least choice for travelling was by the bus and taxi respectively.

The mostly preferred mode of communication for UK student in 2010 where by bus (33 %) and by foot (27%), which shirts light fall and rise between themselves making bus users 26% and walkers 31% of the students. In terms of USA, both the bus users (27%) and car users (29%) comprise of nearly half of the chart collectively in 2010, which even increased slightly in 2015 representing a 3% decrease and a 6% rise in the bus and car users respectively.

On the other hand, travelling on foot went up by 3% in the UK and on contrary, slightly by 1% in USA. Meanwhile, the use of taxi is very negligible in UK which even decreased by 4%, whereas 19% students preferred taxi in USA that also projected flight degrees to 10%.
