Overall, the majority of both graduates and postgraduates chose to continue with further study, while voluntary work is the least popular option for both groups.
Among graduates, around 29,665 students went on to further study, which was the majority. This is followed by part-time work (17,735) and unemployment (16,235). There is only 3,500 graduates who did voluntary work, making it the least common activity.
In comparison, for postgraduates, further study also had the highest number at 2,725, slightly more than part-time work at 2,535. A smaller number of 1,625 were unemployed, and only 345 did voluntary work.
In summary, the number of graduate students is significantly higher in all categories than postgraduates. For instance, the number of graduates who continued studying was more than ten times the number of postgraduates.
