The first chart illustrates data about water expense, whereas the second chart demonstrates how residential water was consumed in Australia in 2004.
Overall, it is evident that residential (houses) by far had the highest percentage of water consumption, whereas the government and other areas showcased only minor proportions of water consumption. While the garden and bathroom had the largest proportions of domestic water compared to other categories.
On the one hand, it can be seen that residential illustrated the highest percentage of water consumption at 70%, meanwhile industrial and business had the same proportions of water consumption at 11% and 10%, and the rate of the government’s consumption was only 6%, which was higher than other at 3%.
On the other hand, the second chart shows that the garden had the most demand for water use at 28%, followed by a bathroom at 27%. The washing clothes accounted for 20%, double that of the kitchen at 10%, and the middle category which rated at 15% was toilet.
