The pie charts compare how much water was used in the same country in the years of 1988 and 2008.
Overall, consumption of water in kitchen increased compared to past, while less water allocated to garden watering over time. Meanwhile water consuming in bathroom, washing, and toilets remained other significant water usage.
As far as the year 1988 is concerned, water consuming in washing was dominance by proportion of 25%, which was less than twice as kitchen (15%). Moreover, its usage in bathroom was the second high-ranked consumption with figure of 22%. In toilets and gardening, it was used by a little different, 18% and 20%, respectively.
In the case of 2008, in washing section, water’s consumption decreased to 22%, while in kitchen, water usage increased to 29%, which was twice as past. In addition, water was allocated to bathroom more than past, by portion of 29%. Also, water consumption in gardening dropped to 7%, which was half of toilets proportion.
