Overall, Sodium holds the lion’s share in the consumption of meals during dinner, while the consumption percentages for breakfast and snacks own the lowest place. In contrast, the percentage of added sugar for snacks has the biggest share. The percentages of saturated fat and added sugar for breakfast are at the same level. As for lunch, in all three pie charts it can be clearly seen that percentages are almost at the same level.
In the first pie chart, Americans who consumed sodium have the biggest share for dinner, by being 43 %, while breakfast and snacks hold the smallest share, by being 14%. Moreover, consumption of sodium during lunch is somewhere in the middle, by being almost 30%. Similarly, the second pie chart has the highest amount in the consumption of saturated fat during dinner, by being 37%. Furthermore, percentages of saturated fat eaten by Americans during lunch and snacks are approximately at a similar state by being 26% and 21%. However, the percentage of saturated fat related to breakfast still owns the lowest share by being at 16%. In the third pie chart, it can be clearly seen that added sugar has the major share for snacks by being 42 %. On the other hand, consumption percentages of added sugar during breakfast and lunch holds almost 20 % each. As for dinner, it holds nearly a quarter of added sugar, by being 23%.
