It is noted that meals eaten in dinner contain the highest amount of above mentioned nutrients except for the highest percentage of added sugar taken during snack time. Meals taken during dinner and lunch contain highest percentages of sodium, saturated fat and added sugar. Such food constitute 45% , 37% and 23% sodioum, saturated fat and added sugar in dinner respectively while in lunch shares a bit less proportion having 29% sodium, 26% saturated fat and 19 % added sugar.
Snacks taken usually contain higher amount of added sugar which is 42 %. Overall least amount of these three nutrients are taken in during breakfast containing on average 16 % saturated fat and added sugar and 14% sodium.
