The given charts depict the average percentage of three different types of nutrients that are present in meal which is consumed by the people of the USA; these nutrients if overtaken can cause health issues, namely, sodium saturated fat, and added sugar.
First of all, it can be seen that sodium consumption in breakfast and snacks is equal (14%), whereas, in lunch it covering 29% of the total percentage, and similar for the dinner it is consumed 43% which is highest in this scenario.
Secondly, in the case of saturated fat dinner is dominating the field again which is 37%; however, snacks contain almost 21% percent of the saturated fat and 26% of this is consumed during lunch, moreover, only 16 percent of given nutrient is consumed during breakfast.
Lastly, added sugar is double then the saturated fat in case of snacks; furthermore, in breakfast its ratio is similar to the saturated fat, also in lunch it is about 19% and around 23% is available in case of dinner.
Conclusively, it can be seen that dinner was dominating in the first two scenarios but in case of third nutrient “added sugar” snacks are the dominating.
