The given pie charts demonstrate data on the ratio of Eastern Australia’s energy power used in the eight different sectors from 2007 to 2010.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that other metals rose, but manufacturing and aluminium decreased over the 3-year period starting from 2007. In addition, transport, residential, commercial, agricultural, and mining remained unchanged by less than one-third of a percent during those years.
When it comes to percentage of using electric power, the other metals sector, it experienced a sharp increase from 12% to 18%; however, there was a significant decrease in the manufacturing and aluminium sectors from 13% to 9% and 11%, respectively, over the 3-year period beginning in 2007.
However, when residential and commercial electricity was used, these surprisingly remained stable, standing at 1%, 23%, and 28%, respectively; likewise, the agricultural and mining sectors underwent the same unchanging levels of less than one-tenth—1% and 9%—respectively.
