With regard to the remaining types, biology books, travel books, and other unnamed ones all saw an immense decrease in interest. Similarly, other unnamed book purchases dropped by half over 40 years, from 25% to 12%. However, travel book sales hit its highest point at 18% in 1992 before plummeting to a nadir of 10% in 2012.
