The bar charts compare the percentage of male and female students across different age groups in Australia who were enrolled in part-time and full-time education in 2006.
Overall, there is a significant difference between part-time and full-time education among the students aged 20-24 for both males and females.
In detail, 12% of male students and 17 percent of female students wore enrolled in part-time education in the 15-19 age group, whereas students in full-time education were 8% and 7% for male and female students respectively. The figure for part-time education for both genders picked at 40% for males and 42% for females. Meanwhile, 12% of male and 13% of female students were in full-time education in this age group. The students aged 30 and above showed less percentage for part-time education with 8% of males and 6% of females, while male students and female students accounted for 10% and 12% in full-time education respectively.
It’s interesting to note that the figure for both types of education showed the same 8% for female students, albeit a little difference for male students, with 8% and 6% in the 25-29 age group.
