The bar charts present information about the percentage of male and female students of various ages that engaged in part-time or full-time education education in Australia in 2006.
From the charts it can be seen that between the ages 15-19, a higher percentage of women were studying part-time as compared to the men. Age group 20-24 had a tremendous amount of both male and female students that studied part-time as compared to the full-time students.
Between 25-29, women had an equal percentage of part-time and full-time students, while men had 2% less full-time students as part-time students. Above the age of 30, part-time female students only constitute 6% of all female students, which is half the percentage of full-time students in this age group. On the other hand, men only have 2% more full-time students above 30 as compared to the number of part-time students. Under the age of 30, more students study part-time. However, if a student is above 30, he or she is more likely to be studying full-time.
