The bar charts illustrate the proportion of male and female learners of various age brackets who did full-time and part-time studies in a certain nation in the year of 2006.
Overall, women participation in part-time studies was greater than that of male among all age groups, except the oldest one. Meanwhile, the greatest percentage of students participated for part-time studies was in the 20-24 age bracket from both genders.
A significant difference between full-time and part-time learners was among 20 to 24 years olds. Accordingly, the percentages of male and female part-time students were 40% and 42%, respectively which were the highest. However, the teenagers’ involvement in studies was around 10%, irrespective to the gender and type of study.
Notably, women in the 25-29 age bracket, participated in full-time and part-time learning similarly at 8%. Nevertheless, full-time students were higher compared to the part-time learners, among over 30s in both sexes. Particularly, female students who did part-time education was the lowest at 6% among all age brackets.
